Our policies
Read these before you book. Each starts from the same promise: a sheet is over you, you choose, and you can stop.
Undressing and draping
A sheet is over you the whole time, and you lie on your side with pillows. Only the area we are working on is uncovered, and it is covered again when we move on. Undress only as far as you like; we work around whatever you keep on.
Pressure, consent and stopping
Before we start we ask about pressure and any area you want us to leave alone. Tell us at any time to go lighter or firmer. You can pause, change position or end the session whenever you like, and we stop right away.
When to ask your doctor first
Please ask your doctor or midwife before you book, and tell your therapist what they said. We go ahead with your provider's say-so. We do not diagnose, and massage does not take the place of their care.
Booking and deposits
Choose a session, a day and a time on the booking page. A deposit holds the time for the 90-minute sessions and goes toward your session. You see the amount before you confirm.
Canceling and running late
Please give us 24 hours to move or cancel, since your therapist has held that hour for you. If you are running late, we shorten the session to end on time for the next visit. If you or the baby are unwell, tell us and we will move your visit without question.
If you miss an appointment
If you do not arrive and we cannot reach you, the visit counts as missed and any deposit is kept. We would rather hear from you, so call or text and we will find another day.
Children and companions
A baby is welcome after the birth when a second adult comes too and can hold them while you are on the table. Older children and other guests wait in the lobby.
Oils and scents
We use an unscented oil or lotion unless you ask for a scent, and we can tell you every ingredient. Tell us about any allergy when you book and we will use something else.
If you're not happy
If a session was not right, tell us within a few days and we'll make it right.
Tipping
Tipping is optional and always appreciated. You can add it when you pay or hand it to your therapist.
